Make A Pizza At Home
|
|
After you have
made the dough
its time to shape it into either a round or square pie
lay it in the center of a baking sheet and begin to press it
outward using your fingers until it stretches reaching every
side and corner. use a rolling pin if needed and you can also
stretch
it out on your counter top before laying it in the baking sheet.
If you prefer a round pie, since the dough is already in
the shape of a ball begin pressing downward on the dough ball
working in a circular motion until it its at the desired
thickness and size you prefer. You can purchase a round baking
stone from the store if you want to make larger round pizza
pies.
Cooking Temperature can vary, you'll find yourself
experimenting with temperature and time variations as you make
more and more pies. I generally bake my pizza pies at 350
degrees until I see the cheese begin to turn yellow in some
spots about 10-18 minutes.

Adding toppings and the type
is your choice. A pizza can be made many ways/styles but
generally, first add your sauce then cheese and finally the
toppings that you desire! You can always add some fresh basil or
other spices to your pizza sauce layer, there are endless
choices and combinations!
Pizza Styles -
here are some personal home-style favorites. |

*editors note - For a crispy crust bake your pie on
the bottom oven rack and if you like a softer crust
bake on the top oven rack. Remember temperature and time can and
will vary so eye out
your pie as it cooks when you make your first few Pizza Pies! |
